to Sundiata
I am a Father, Friend, Unschooler, Systems Thinker, Authentic Dialogue Facilitator, Serial Entrepreneur, Anti-Oppression Facilitator, Content Creator, & Organizer.
Here you will find my life's work, critical thoughts, visions, and initiatives rooted in Liberation, Social & Environmental Sustainability, and Unconditional Love...For All. My mission is to continue to Grow Aligned with my purpose while inspiring others to do the same.
Who was I
As Scott Speed I followed the path of convention (re: religion, parenting, education, work, marriage, etc.) because I was told that would lead to happiness and success. I experienced doubts as a young adult however I simply did what those who came before me did because I didn’t know another path.
What changed
As I grew older I continued to experience misalignment between conventional outcomes and my internal compass which craved outcomes rooted in equity, unity, peaceful conflict resolution, love & liberation for all. Then in 2010 I learned about Systems Thinking and Authentic Dialogue and felt empowered and equipped to co-create aligned outcomes with likeminded people.
Where am I now
Since 2010 I’ve been intentional about unlearning divisive and oppressive conventional beliefs and walking away from social constructs (systems) that aren’t aligned with my internal compass. I now share my journey with others through facilitating, coaching, writing, podcasting, and co-creating community with likeminded people.
Where am I Going
My internal compass continues to pull me toward helping to create and amplify social constructs and systems that eliminate divisiveness and oppression and fosters liberation, sustainability, and unconditional love in our personal relationships, communities, and planet.
I Chose to Grow.

Unconditional Love
for all
My experience with Grow Dialogue’s work was transformative. Like most people I loved to debate and vanquish any opposition to my viewpoints which I hold not only sacred but obviously correct. During our session, I was able to see the value in an “authentic dialogue” with another human being rather than an opponent to defeat. Finding value in another viewpoint, no matter how diametrically opposed to it I may have been has helped me to approach every debate/argument as a chance for authentic dialogue and understanding.

A Deschooling Guide For Supporting The Self-Directed Child w/ Akilah S. Richards
This is a supporting resource for adults to go through the rationale, the benefits, the urgency, and the solutions inside of, a life that gives a child the room to own their educational journey, and to understand themselves as lifelong learners, and not merely temporary students who need to impress adults in order to feel validated and purposeful.
What To Consider Before Your ALC Interview w/ Akillah S. Richards
For some families, an Agile Learning Center (ALC) provides an ideal space for them and their children to engage in deep learning and community-centered living.
ALCs are great spaces to live and learn outside of the confines, standardization, and dehumanizing that can happen in conventional schools, but there are a few key things you need to understand in order for an ALC experience to be an effective solution for your child, and this webinar is designed to help you gain understanding of those key things.
